The easiest way to earn big money is through perfection and precision. We all need to be perfect in our work. People have a misconception that only by doing something else we can make money. Like they say "Grass is Greener on the other side".
Observe around and you will see that even there is no small of big tasks. The local pan walla who is very good in making pan makes more money than many qualified people. There is a person who makes good eatables and runs a small cart and people come from far and wide to eat the eatables. Imagine people spend Rs 250 on petrol to drive to his small shop and eat food worth only Rs 30 or Rs 40. This will give you an indication that " We should be perfect in what we do" then the doors to money easily open up.
Big artists command a multi million dollars on their paintings. What is painting, only canvas, colour how much would it cost. Few dollars and when the painting is done, millions of dollars provided the artist is the top in his field.
Look into your own work, profession, business. Ask yourself " Can I do this better" . Can I become best of best in my field atleast. If someone can do it, why not I. These kinds of things will propel you to excel in a huge way. Take small steps but become one of the best in your own field. Gather information, connect to experts, browse the net, attend training programs, infact do all that it takes to become the "Best" and not settle for anything less than that. People will come in search for you, give you the highest for your services. You will be sought after.
This reminds me of a beautiful story:
Ever heard the story of the giant ship engine that failed?
A huge ships engines failed. The engineers tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work.
He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom. Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do.
After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed!
A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars. "What?" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!" So they
wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an Itemized Bill."
The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with a hammer ...................... $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap....................... $ 9998.00
Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life makes all the difference.
